1. What Baromètre 2027 is
Baromètre 2027 is an independent aggregator. It collects, formats and presents public data on the 2027 French presidential election: polls, platforms, news and videos. The Site conducts no polls, produces no opinion data and does not collect visitors' political opinions. It has no political affiliation and supports no candidate and no party.
2. The polls
The voting intentions shown come from the Wikipedia page "Opinion polling for the 2027 French presidential election", released under the Creative Commons BY-SA licence. The figures remain the property of the firms that produced them; they are displayed for information, with a link to the source.
For each polling wave (one firm, one fieldwork date), when a firm publishes several scenarios, the Site automatically keeps the most complete scenario, i.e. the one with the largest number of candidates. Polls are sorted from newest to oldest. Any second-round run-offs (head-to-head) are presented separately.
3. The candidates tracked
The Site tracks candidates officially declared for the election. They are presented in an order running from the left to the right of the political spectrum, for readability and not as an assessment. This list and order change as candidacies are declared and withdrawn.
4. The news feed
The news feed is built automatically from the public feeds (RSS) of many French press outlets, supplemented by a news search dedicated to each candidate. Articles are filtered on keywords related to the presidential election, then sorted by date. Each article links to its original publisher's site; no content is republished in full.
5. The videos
The videos section shows the most recent posts from the official channels of candidates and parties, retrieved via the public feeds of their accounts. The videos remain hosted on their original platform and remain the property of their authors.
6. Data updates
Polls, news and videos are updated automatically, several times a day. The date and time of the last update are shown on the relevant pages.
7. Limitations and disclaimer
A poll is a snapshot of opinion at a given moment, with a margin of error defined by the firm; it is not a forecast of the election result. The Site presents the figures as published and applies no additional adjustment or weighting. For the detailed methodology of a poll (sample, collection method, adjustments), please refer to the notice of the firm concerned.
The publisher strives to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information, without being able to guarantee it, in particular when the original sources change or cease to be available.
8. Sources and corrections
Details of the sources used (polls, press, videos) are available on the Sources page. To report an error or make a removal request, you can write to contact@elouardigroup.com.
